Growers raise money for Greenfingers at Grand East Anglia Run

A team from Thompson & Morgan, Hayloft Plants and Delamore has raised almost £3,000 for the charity Greenfingers by running the Grand East Anglia Run, bringing the total raised to more than £45,000.

The annual 10km run is set in King’s Lynn and among the 1,500 runners taking part in the run were Thompson & Morgan employees Craig Simpson, Paul Sauntson, Mark Tibbenham, Martin Fox, Louise Girling and husband and wife team, Paul and Ruth Hansord.

Hayloft Plants' Yvonne Walker, Derek Jarman, Clair Fletcher and Sophie and Yvonne Gormley, Fiona Judson, Carl Hartley also took plant.

On the team from Delamore were Adrian Spriggs, Tamsin Atter, Georgie Brooks, Toni Clark, Vanessa King, Nicola Brundle, John Edwards, Lindsay Pell, Jayne Sauntson, Tina Thorpe, Sophie Worlding, Agata Rudzinska, Justyna Myszk, Keith Oakley, James Banton, Ashley Symonds, Spencer Smith, Wayne Eady, Greg Mrozik.

T&M horticultural director Paul Hansord said: "‘It was quite a challenge as the North Norfolk sun was beating down pretty hard on Sunday morning."
