Chiswick Park, Enjoy-Work is a business park located in west London where a number of high-profile companies have based their UK head offices. The park currently has more than 8,000 guests working for the companies within the 12 buildings. Working with the local community is at the heart of Enjoy-Work’s values, with green and environmental initiatives embedded within the organisation.
Nurture Landscapes has held the contract at Chiswick Park since June 2010 and employs a team of four full-time gardeners and one seasonal gardener on the contract. The site spans more than 32 acres with a mix of formal hedging, shrub borders, mature trees, amenity lawns and extensive hard surfaces, with a large feature lake and a waterfall situated in the centre of the park.

Visited by around 15,000 people per day and with a continuous programme of public and private events undertaken within the grounds all year round, Ground Control’s dedicated team works consistently to ensure that the grounds are always in pristine condition. Ground Control’s work at the UNESCO World Heritage site spans 1.6ha inside the tower and the surrounding area.

After successful completion of the landscaping to Inverness Campus, Ground Control was awarded the grounds maintenance contract to the nationally and internationally significant location for business, research and education. Maintenance areas include grassland, wild flower meadows, watercourse and aquatic planting areas, beach areas, shrub beds and woodland. Works include litter picking, grass cutting, meadow grass establishment cuts, robotic mowing on embankments, selective herbicide application and spot treatment, weeding, Japanese knotweed control, hedge cutting, pruning, fertilisation, removal of dead material, tree care and watering.
