Greenkeepers gain 'MG' accreditation

Greenkeepers from England, Switzerland and the USA are the latest to earn the title Master Greenkeeper with the right to put the letters "MG" after their name, bringing the total number to 60.

The newest members to be accredited are North Foreland Golf Club (Kent) course manager Dan McGrath and St Mellion International course manager Mike Bush from Cornwall, along with Switzerland's Golfpark Nuolen golf manager Steven Tierney.

Justin Ruiz of Indian Summer Golf & Country Club in Washington and Curtis Tyrrell from Illinois' Medinah Country Club will receive their certificates at the Golf Industry Show in Las Vegas at the end of the month.
