The Skanska, Costain and STRABAG (SCS) joint venture (JV) has issued a tender for installation of green roofs for the HS2 project.
SCS JV is working with HS2 Ltd to build 26.4km of the high speed railway between Euston and West Ruislip.
The successful bidder must provide all necessary labour, plant and materials for the completion of waterproofing and green roof provision to various assets with the Central Area of the HS2 project.
Works to include all waterproofing systems, green roof with intrusive or extrusive growing, trims, cappings, walkways, plant step overs, guardrails, restraint systems and possiblly rainwater harvesting systems.
Contractors able to provide multiple options of green roof systems will be "highly considered".
The contract will run from 9 May 2023 until 9 June 2025.
The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest is 24 December 2021.
