Grandvalira Golf Club buys Ransomes Jacobsen machines

Grandvalira Golf Club, the highest in Europe, has bought a range of Ransomes Jacobsen turf maintenance equipment from Spanish distributor Green Mowers of Burgos.

The nine-hole course, designed by France-based course architect Jeremy Pern, is 2,250m above sea level in the heart of the Pyrenees.

The course features 31 bunkers and a 15-bay driving range and practice area.

Construction began in 2007 and the course was officially opened in September 2008.
