New attractions and returning favourites are all designed to build on the show's key themes of innovation, inspiration and education.

"We have designed Glee's content to add real value for everyone attending. But more than this we have created features that don't detract from the main aim of Glee to bring suppliers and buyers together," said show director Nick Davison. "Instead we want to provide targeted, market driven inspiration and education, enabling visitors to come away feeling that they have learnt something useful."

Seminar programme

Seminars from Neville Stein, Jeff Kwiatkowski, Amanda Long, David Denny, Penny Evans and Steven Pike are part of a full programme across three days of the event.

White Paper: Vision 2020

Consultant John Stanley will look at the challenges and opportunities for the independent garden centre industry in the next decade.

The Hothouse

The HTA will show how to attract the next generation gardener and use new technology such as 2-D barcodes.

A Garden Industry Question Time panel will comprise Gardman chief Mark Pearson, Garden & Leisure Group managing director Keith Nicholson, Suttons sales and marketing director David Arnold, Grosvenor Garden Centre managing director Iain Wylie. Chair is HTA director of marketing Andrew Maxted.

The Glee Garden Angels

Glee's Garden Angels will see a series of business thinkers put forward their pitch for their product and business case. The Garden Angels will be made up of a panel of industry leaders including former Gardman chairman and chief executive Paris Natar and Sue Allen, former managing director of the Millbrook Garden Company. They will be joined by a guest Angel each day.

Off the Shelf

Glee's Off the Shelf feature draws on the show's key theme of retail inspiration. Taking products that are difficult to merchandise, the Glee team will build a series of displays throughout the show to demonstrate how effective outside-the-box thinking can be.

Innovators Zone

Glee's exciting Innovators Zone provides an at-a-glance chance to source innovative products from entrepreneurs and small-scale manufacturers who are taking their first steps into the market, or making their debut at Glee.

Glee New Products

As always, hundreds of new products are set to be launched at Glee this year. To make navigation easier, they will once again be collected in the Glee New Products area in Hall 5.
