Gardman is introducing a new marketing strategy, ‘Trust us to deliver’. The strategy is being launched with the sales initiative for the company’s bird care range – ShaRRPer Pricing – in which the company is dropping the price of 53 products.
Marketing director Jane Lawler said:
"Our research indicates that faced with such challenging trading conditions, garden centres increase their sales and generate higher profits when they offer their customers really good deals. Right now people are mindful of how much they spend and are looking out for bargains.
"Our strategy, 'Trust us to deliver' is all about helping retailers do exactly this. The first initiative within the strategy, ShaRRPer Pricing, is giving retailers some incredibly good deals that, if they pass on to their customers, will help drive up sales."
With the ShaRRPer Pricing initiative Gardman is dropping the price of 53 key bird care products, introducing 29 new sales boosters and reducing the minimum volume on 42 existing sales boosters.
