Gardman close to full strength following appointment of Solus category manager

Gardman is set to move to full strength with the appointment of former Solus category manager Henry Corbett, who will work on new product and brand development.

Tim Goff is new category and purchasing director having come from Phones4U. He was previously at Pets at Home.

Paul Murden is joining as international sales director and Chris Clark as national sales director. Emma Clarke is a new accounts manager for Homebase and discount stores.

Another employee, to be announced, will join as garden centre accounts manager.

GfK says birdcare is 24 per cent down for December, January and February although Gardman says it is just four per cent down after account wins.
