Gardening to stay after Theo Paphitis buys Robert Dyas

Theo Paphitis is the owner owner of hardware chain Robert Dyas, which he has bought for £10m from Allied Irish and Lloyds banks.

The 96-store chain will not see a big change in product offering, said the Dragon’s Den star.

Robert Dyas sells garden products including bird care, décor, lighting, grow your own sets, barbecues, garden tools and greenhouses.

Brands currently stocked at Robert Dyas include Scotts, Draper, Fiskars, Gardman, Kingfisher, Suttons, Bayer, Stewarts, Hozelock and Outback.
