Garden retailers launch new products

Garden retail suppliers are ramping up launches of new products into garden centres this month.

Glove and outdoor wear supplier Town & Country has improved its footwear range.

The company's current best-selling footwear item - the premium Wellington - has had its fit, quality and performance improved to make the boot taller and slimmer, with increased rubber content, a softer, two-way stretch lining and a new vintage metal buckle.

There is also new packaging for the premium boots in the form of a reusable boot bag - providing consumers with the means to store wet or muddy boots in between uses.

New Wellington boots are available in four shades - turquoise, yellow, lime green and pink - each with matching striped linings and a stripe detail down the rear of the boot.

Meanwhile, Nemasys has introduced a new "No Ants" product to kill black, red and yellow ants. RRP is £10.75, which buys enough to kill 16 nests. See www.nemasysinfo.co.uk.

Gardman has launched a selection of new-generation dynamo wind-up torches as part of its new EnviroGARD range of environmentally conscious products.  The torches retail at £3.99 to £14.99. See www.gardman.co.uk.
