Garden Museum set to go Dutch

Modern masterpieces from two of the world's finest garden designers are set to pull in the crowds and star billings this year.

The Garden Museum's spotlight on modern Dutch garden design will feature the work of Piet Oudolf and Jacqueline Van Der Kloet. News of the Going Dutch show, which opens on 5 October, had generated big interest, said the museum's marketing officer Alison Parry.

The exhibition will follow the retrospective of luminary plantsman Christopher Lloyd, which came after a Good Life display on the history of growing your own.

"We're getting really good door numbers," said Parry. "Just as importantly, we're getting very strong feedback - almost all ratings from the public of four or five out of five."
