Garden centre worker wins £1m

A garden centre worker from Cornwall has won a £1 million jackpot with a Lottery scratchcard.

Lee Orchard and wife Leanne celebrated their £1m windfall at the Eden Project.

The married father-of-two, from St Austell, stopped at the Co-Op on his way to work. "When I got back in the car and scratched the card, I couldn't believe my eyes when it came up as a £1 million win.

Orchard, who works at his parents' garden centre, Black Acre Nurseries in St Columb Major, plans to buy a house for his family as they currently rent their home.
