Garden centre to be replaced by housing

A planning application to replace Reigate Garden Centre with 17 houses has now been granted, prompting mixed feelings for neighbours of the site.

The centre began a £1.25m closing down sale in June. It opened in 1983.
There will now be eight houses built with another nine behind them around an access road. All buildings will be two storeys.
The houses will be a mixture of 14 three-bedroom homes and three four-bedroom houses, all of varying size, with 37 parking spaces and landscaping.
