A lake and woodland area at Tong Garden Centre in Bradford, West Yorkshire is to be transformed into an animatronic dinosaur theme park.
Designer Christian Cristobal has planned 24 dinosaurs for the attraction, which he hopes will open by Christmas.
Cristobal said: "I’m happy that it’s been approved. The planning department have been really helpful and I’m looking forward to making it happen.
"There are going to be ones the kids can operate, so it is quite interactive. I don’t want them to just walk around, they will get to try things out and find out how it feels to look in a dinosaur."
The attraction will have a dedicated parking area and is expected to create two full-time and one part-time jobs.
