The Garden Centre Group plant buyer to speak on operations system

The biennial HTA seasonal plants conference on 21 November, at Young Plants in Warwickshire, is to host a plant buyer from the Garden Centre Group, who will explain the 139-centre chain's operations, logistical, and automated stock/order processes.

Plant buyer Nicky Roeber will speak on "click and collect" and what TGCG's requirements are from suppliers after having learnt from that scheme.

Cresco Horticulture managing director Graham Dunn will look at challenges and opportunities growers face when trading with supermarkets.

YouGarden’s Peter McDermott will speak on multichannel retailing, and Boyd Douglas Davies and Nigel Judd will also gives talks.
