TGCG is telling its customers: "You can plant with confidence with our lifetime guarantee on all hardy plants."
"We choose only the highest quality plants. If one of our hardy plants dies, simply return the plant to us along with your receipt and/or the barcode label and we will be happy to replace it with another plant of the same value."
The 140-centre group says that if the plant fails, send us a photograph of the plant along with the website order number to its customer services department. "Once we have determined the cause of the problem we will endeavour to replace it," it is saying to customers.
Customers will be charged for delivery on any replacement plants issued.
The guarantee does not include hardy annuals, biennial plants, bonsai, indoor plants, Christmas trees, summer patio plants or half hardy plants.
Plants used in landscaping work on behalf of a third party are also excluded as are any plants damaged due to a lack of watering or proper horticultural care.
