Garden centre featured on TV comedy hit

A Lancashire garden centre has become a regular feature in a comedy series.

Gordon Rigg in Todmorden, West Yorkshire has featured several times on Meet the Richardson, starring comedy wife and husband team Lucy Beaumont and Jon Richardson.

A Gordon Rigg spokesperson said the production team Second Act enjoyed filming at the centre and liked the setting and that customers regularly comment about the series and its catchphrase 'Save it for Bingo' to staff.

Owner Peter Rigg features in the comedy scenes, which includes Jon Richardson buying a gnome, with comedy consequences.

The second series features on Dave and the next episode is set to be broadcast on 29 April.
