Freedom of Information Act 'will be a headache'

Subjecting charities and contractors to Freedom of Information (FoI) laws will cause massive administration hassles for minimal gain, green space consultant Andrew Gill has warned. Under proposals being discussed, the act could soon apply to all organisations that receive public funding, from horticultural charities such as Thrive, Perennial and the RHS to grounds maintenance companies that take on public sector contracts.
