Free RHS day attracts 13,000

A RHS free gardens day has broken visitor number records.

RHS gardens attracted 13,000 visitors when they opened for free on 7 March.

Record numbers of visitors celebrated the RHS’s 210th birthday on 7th March when over 13,000 people visited Wisley Rosemoor, Harlow Carr and Hyde Hall. Wisley alone attracted 8,200.

The RHS opens its gardens for free each year for a day. More than double the numbers that came along to the same day last year.
