Prospective exhibitors were still calling to see if they could be squeezed in as HW's Breakfast Briefing went to press last night, event director Pat Coutts confirmed.

Organisers of the show which is now in its 42nd year have increased its exhibitor space following a sell out event last year.

The show traditionally features a wide spectrum of plants from UK grown stock to specimen and mature plants supplied by overseas plant exhibitors.  Alongside plant exhibitors' stands which are expected to include a large number of new plant introductions, suppliers of professional products and services for growers will also be on show.

Product suppliers for the garden and landscape sectors will also feature at the event which includes a seminar programme which this year will include speakers Peter Seabrook, John Adlam and John Connell among others.

Horticulture Week which is media partner to the event will also host the Four Oaks Trade Show Awards at the close of the first day's business.
