The 21-year-old from Newquay studied the online FdSc Sportsturf degree with the college and secured the placement through the Ohio State Intern Programme.
As part of the internship she will be heavily involved in the maintenance of the greens as well as the preparations for the 2010 Masters.
She currently works at the Newquay Golf Club where she has been granted time off by course manager Andrew Dunstan.
Crosswood said: "This is an unbelievable opportunity for me and I can't wait to get started. I would like to thank everybody at Myerscough and the Ohio State Intern Programme, as well as my colleagues at Newquay Golf Club, for helping to make this happen for me."
She is only the second female from the UK to secure a placement at Augusta, following on from Wendy O'Brian, who also studied at Myerscough and now works as a superintendent in Spain.
