Brazilian-born Elze, who owns a floristry shop in Kew, adapted her design from the National Wedding Show. It included spring flowers such as hellebores, snakeshead fritillaries and hyacinths, as well as miniature roses in various pastel colours.
An interesting feature was a circular glass table, from which strands of green Amaranthus hung down. All of Elze's flowers and pot plants were sourced from market traders Bloomfield, John Austin and Evergreen.
The installation took Elze and a helper a full day to prepare. Moss and flowers were placed around a vase which took centre stage in the display, creating an intricate "embroidery" effect.
Elze's second shop will open next week inside the Ginkgo Garden Centre, situated in Ravenscourt Park, west London.
