Figures show fall in nursery stock crop production area

The UK's ornamental crop production area fell for hardy nursery stock by almost 10 per cent last year but rose for herbaceous perennials by almost 20 per cent, according to latest figures. Protected crop, Christmas tree, cut flower and bulb production areas were all slightly down.
