Fencing specialist gears up for a late surge in demand

M&M Timber is preparing for an anticipated end-of-season surge in demand for landscaping and fencing timbers from leisure parks.

Commercial director Andy Hodge said: "Leisure park operators and outdoor entertainment facilities managers are putting one of the worst summers on record behind them and preparing for a better season next year.

"This is the time of year when country parks, zoos and other outdoor attractions will be looking to carry out repairs and remedial work," he said of his treated timber products, which now benefit from a new machine that etches names and images.

He added that M&M Timber is among the first companies in Europe to market the Osmose MicroPro pressure treatment process.
