Arundel, West Sussex, 3rd September 2020 – Fargro Ltd, a leading wholesaler and supplier of commercial horticultural products today announced it will be supporting NHS Charities Together by donating 10% of sales of its new product Rainbow Sticks, to help fund the fight against Covid-19.
Rainbow Sticks are a new decorative garden product sourced by Fargro to add fun and interest to plants. The rainbow sticks come in various sizes and can be placed amongst house plants, window boxes, balcony pots and bedding plant displays. Each Rainbow Stick features a rainbow, mirroring the rainbows used as a symbol to thank the NHS during the UK lockdown earlier this year, decorated with flowers and insects etc, atop a metal stick which can be pushed into potting material to create an eye-catching decorative display. Rainbow Sticks will add colour and fun to any plant display. Larger retailers may wish to use them to support NHS themed campaigns or to add value to potted houseplants at point of sale.
Fargro developed Rainbow Sticks to show the company’s support of the NHS, with Procurement and Sales Manager, Mark Ianson taking on responsibility for developing the final concept. Mark says “We wanted to show our appreciation for the amazing work the NHS does, and offer some financial support in the ongoing fight against Covid-19, so the idea of using the well-recognised rainbow symbol was conceived. Rainbow Sticks are a very simple way to add a little fun and colour, while showing our support for all of the wonderful staff in the NHS, and every purchase helps fund this great cause.”
