Domoney launches Hartman university garden furniture design competition

Hartman are working with Birmingham City University to find new garden furniture designs for 2016.

TV gardener David Domoney, Hartman sales director Paul Facey, finance director Phil Daniels, and marketing manager Gina Hinde were at Birmingham City University’s new campus to launch the Hartman Prize for the fourth year in a row.

Two designs were included in Hartman’s 2013 garden furniture collection.

Domoney said: "It was a delight to meet the university students and give them an insight into how outdoor furniture fits and compliments garden design. They are all so enthusiastic and fired up to create their own garden furniture designs. I am excited about seeing their creations."

This remit for this year is focused specifically on outdoor family dining concentrating on resin weave designs. This year will see the students working on designs for Hartman’s 2016 garden furniture collection.
