A new Dobbies garden centre in Kings Lynn was opened yesterday (24 October).

The new store is the first of its kind for Tesco and Dobbies - the creation of a single building to house both stores and a shared communal space in between.

Designer, Manson Architects said: "The challenge was to create a building which encapsulated the very best of both brands, maintaining their identity whilst enhancing their offer and shopping experience.

"190,000 sqft (gross) internal floor area and 50,000sqft of external shopping area presented an opportunity to create an elegant shopfront with a clear hierarchy of entrance, display and exit."
