The deadline to submit videos to a competition asking for ideas about preventing and dealing with flooding is approaching.
The LI is running the competition in association with the Royal Institute of British Architects, Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Building Centre and Royal Town Planning Institute.Participants are asked to explain their ideas on how to prevent and deal with flooding on video - but they do not need to be slick productions. The competition will be happy with videos made on smartphones or GoPro-style video cameras.
Those with ideas fit for the future are urged to get their entries in by 6 February.
The best video will get a £2,000 prize, with £1,000 for the runner-up and two second runner-up prizes of £500 each.
