The deadline is next Wednesday (18 November).
Awards organiser Kate Collins has asked that anyone intending to post their entry registers their intention to enter with her by telephone on 020 8267 8188.
Where possible, entrants should send their entries by email to Kate at email@example.com.
Businesses of all sizes are being encouraged to enter the awards, which are run by Horticulture Week and Grower in association with Asda, the Horticultural Trades Association and the NFU -- and which are now established as the highlight of the production horticulture year.
"What matters is not how large a nursery or farm business is, but what it has achieved with the resources it has, and given the challenges facing the sector," said editor of Horticulture Week and chair of the independent judging panel, Kate Lowe. Entry to the awards is free to members of the NFU or the HTA.
Edibles categories include Field Vegetable Grower of the Year, Salad Grower of the Year, Soft Fruit Grower of the Year, Top Fruit Grower of the Year and Organic Grower of the Year.
General categories include Business Initiative of the Year, Young Grower of the Year, awards celebrating the best consumer and trade marketing campaigns, the best sales and marketing professionals, technical product of the year and the Science into Practice award, which celebrates the application of research to commercial business.
