Davies promises "high levels of customer service" from new products business

Former Solus Garden & Leisure managing director Nick Davies has revealed some details of his new venture.

Davies, who left Solus after 29 years at the end of November, said: "The new business, which has sound financial backing and support from one of the leading players in the industry, will focus on developing quality products and high levels of customer service."

He added: "It will be managed by respected and seasoned garden industry professionals who share my drive and passion for the business. At this time next year the business will be a major force within the garden industry."

Davies will be joined by former Solus national accounts controller Andy Abraham, with whom he worked for 19 years.

Due to the planned scale of the business, Davies and his management team will spend several months developing the infrastructure for the new venture.
