Customers asked to vote for nation's best plant retailer

The Sun's gardening team is urging plant retailers to encourage their customers to vote for them as it launches the search for Britain's Best Plant Retailer 2014.

The Sun is once again working in partnership with Horticulture Week's Garden Retail Awards scheme and will be announcing the winner of the contest at the Garden Retail Awards in London on 26 February.

All regional winners of Britain's Best Plant Retailer will win a complimentary place to the prestigious industry event, where their prizes will be presented.

Voting is open on 1-31 August 2014 and plant centres can encourage their customers to vote by putting slips and boxes at their tills and in their restaurants.

Voting slips and promotional material can be downloaded online from www.sungardening.co.uk.

Thanks to the partnership between The Sun's gardening team and Horticulture Week, the winners of the 2015 Garden Retail Awards will also have the chance to see their names in lights in Britain's best-selling newspaper when The Sun's gardening team covers the results of the awards presented in London next February, alongside the winners of the Best Plant Retailer contest.
