Council environment spend to drop to 1.49 pence out of every pound in 2019/20 - down from 1.78 pence

The Local Government Association has predicted that only 1.49 pence out of every council tax pound collected will be spent on environmental services in the 2019/20 financial year, a 16.3% fall from 1.78p in 2010/11.
