Dearnsdale Farm near Billington grows and packs 1,200 tonnes of strawberries a year for supermarkets and is owned by TW Busby & Son, which also grows in polytunnels at Leese Farm.
Stafford Borough Council planning committee ruled that the Leese Farm tunnels should be removed in 2016, while at Dearnsdale Farm they are to be rotated around the land until 2016, then retained in a fixed location.
Councillor Mark Winnington said: "We should be supporting food production where we can." Co-owner Tom Busby responded: "We are pleased the polytunnels have been passed. It would have made a big difference if we hadn't been granted planning permission."
