Coolings Three Peaks Team has arrived safely back in Knockholt, Kent.
Chairman Paul Colling reports: "Ben Nevis was climbed in ideal weather conditions which gave us a head start. Scafell Pike, on the other hand, had to be climbed in the hours of darkness accompanied by heavy rain and strong winds.
"Snowdon, although the smallest of the three, proved quite a challenge for aching legs and sleepy heads but we did it – smiles all round and only a few blisters! All in all the Coolings Team of twelve climbed up 11,000 feet (and climbed down again) and walked over 26 miles all within 24 hours and that included driving between the peaks too."
He added: "Thank you to everyone who has been kind enough to sponsor us and send messages of support - you know who you are. With a number of pledges still to come in, the total raised so far is likely to be in excess of £13,000.
"If you had intended to sponsor us but have not yet done so, the website is still active. We’re still hopeful of reaching £15,000 so anything you can give will be gratefully received and put to very good use by the team at Harris Hospiscare."
