Contractor sought for A-road tree condition surveys

Highways England is looking for a contractor to carry out tree condition surveys, together valued at £26,000, on two major A-roads in southern England.

The inspections cover the 90km length of the A36 from Bath to its terminus at the M27 near Southampton, and a 26km section of the A40 running from Boxbush in Gloucestershire to its intersection with the M5 near Cheltenham.

Tenders are to be submitted by 19 June 2019. The work is expected to begin on 1 July and last 15 weeks.
