Con artist stings dog walkers

A fake warden is hitting dog owners with £50 on-the-spot fines in parks in Ramsgate, Kent.

The imposter is believed to have made hundreds of pounds with penalties for unleashed dogs.

Thanet District Council said its wardens did not collect money on the spot and dog owners should contact police if approached.
