Climate and economic pressures among sector concerns to be tackled at Arboricultural Association conference

Survival of the Fittest is the theme for this year's Arboricultural Association conference.

Challenges including the climate, economic pressures and people's perception of trees will be explored at this year's Arboricultural Association conference next month.

Held at the University of Exeter on 20-23 September, the conference features talks from speakers including:

  • Royal Botanic Gardens Kew head of arboretum Tony Kirkham
  • Bartlett Trees plant physiologist Glynn Percival
  • Ground Control senior contracts manager Neil Huck
  • London Borough of Barnet principal arboricultural officer Andy Tipping
  • National Association of Tree Officers director Mike Volp
  • Ancient Tree Forum founder member Ted Green
