HTA president Boyd Douglas Davies, of British Garden Centres, has agreed to wear 24 Christmas jumpers - one a day - from December 1-24 to raise money for Greenfingers.

Sponsors are asked for £100 a day/jumper to raise £2,400 for the charity.

Happy Plants' Nat Porter began the fundraiser last year and is posting her jumpers to Douglas Davies, though she warns some may not be big enough for him!

She said: "We want to raise the money through humiliating Boyd on a daily basis!"
