The plants are destined for the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Roof Garden project - the first of its kind in Scotland. Dunnett will also design the new garden for in-patients and their families.
The project is being supported "in kind" by many companies including Ben Reid and transport firm ARR Craib, which transported the planting and materials, such as decking, pebbles and terracotta pipes, to Aberdeen.
Ben Reid owner Simon Fraser said: "We will store and tend the plants while preparation for the roof site and fundraising continues. We are proud to support local projects and this one is dear to my heart."
