Chair backs society vision

Charles Rutherfoord, the new chairman of the Society of Garden Designers, has said this is a "pivotal time" for the group, which has grown into a significant professional body. Praising his predecessor, Annabel Downs, he said he wanted to bring a similar "clarity of vision and thoughtful approach" to the role.
