Cemetery space running out

The City of London Corporation is considering extending Britain's biggest municipal cemetery because it is running out of room. A report has revealed that officers think City of London Cemetery has only 10 years of space remaining. It wants to convert 1.6ha of scrubland into space for 3,000 lawn graves. Newham Council must also consider the plans.
