The Housing Management Consultative Committee on 12 October will explore how to improve the £500,000 contract, which is carried out by City Parks. This includes a consultation with residents, who will examine developing an improved agreement to create higher-quality spaces.
The aim is to keep estate grounds tidy and attractive by working with residents, other departments and external agencies in a wide-ranging review of the terms of the contract. The role of green spaces in community safety and sustainability will also be considered. A council representative told HW it will "get views from residents on how they want the grounds maintained".
