RAF Coningsbury has a new garden of red flowering zonal pelargoniums planted from a donation by an international plant breeder in Dresden, Germany arranged through UK representative Anthony Andrews and the local village of Kirkby Underwood.

Andrea Ludwig, managing director of Elsner pac Jungpflanzen of Dresden said: "We are delighted to be able to sponsor the supply of PAC Anthony, our best selling variety world wide of red flowering zonal pelargoniums, to be used in the new garden at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight that has been constructed by donations from the small Lincolnshire village of Kirkby Underwood. We are really honoured to have this special connection with the BBMF."

Squadron Leader Dunc Mason said: "I would like to pass on my thanks to Anthony and the Kirkby Underwood committee for ‘Summer Fairs and ‘Open Gardens’ for their support of the Flight and for the fund raising they have done to make our garden look so attractive. I would also like to thank Andrea Ludwig for her company’s support and donation of the plants."
