Boskoop's Plantarium exhibition fully booked

Plantarium is fully booked, with more than 50 international stands from 15 different countries. The total number of participants is 309, which exceeds the record set in 2012, say organisers.

Participants include more growers than before, with fewer suppliers and service providers. Some 139 entries have also been received for the new plant awards.

New launches at the show which takes place from 21-24 August will include Telermaat's crop protection app while Plantipp is introducing Hot Plantipp Varieties which include the new garden plant series Mystic Dahlias and Delosperma 'Jewel of Desert'.

Florensis has revamped the Summer Inspirations concept, which it will be presenting at Plantarium.

Dekker Jacobs, Van Riel and Radder have opted for a joint presentation of perennials, ornamental grasses and herbs.

Ilex Select is a collaboration between five producers of Ilex from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Under the brand name Ilex Select, they will be marketing Ilex plants.

Another shared stand features five tree growers from the Boskoop and Zwolle regions, in collaboration with the Study Club for the Boskoop region and the Knowledge & Innovation Impetus for Greenport Boskoop.
