Bord na Mona's peat-free composts and fertilisers brand, Vital Earth is to sponsor a show garden at this year's Chelsea Flower Show which runs from 21 - 25 May.
The garden, Un Garreg, has been designed by Rich Landscapes, a design and build family business based in the Brecon Beacons. Brothers, Harry and David Rich have been in business for a year and have won best in show in Cardiff and silver gilt at BBC Gardeners World 2012. This will be their first garden for Chelsea.
Bord na Mona business operations manager Steve Harper said, "Harry and David are a young team with real talent who specialise in interpreting their native landscape, using environmentally kind materials and sympathetic planting to create unique spaces for people to enjoy.
"These are exactly the values that Vital Earth seeks to espouse and if a brand like this can help designers like this to succeed at the highest level, then I will be delighted.
"It’s also a great way for Vital Earth to be at Chelsea. The brand is newer and smaller than many of its competitors and has only been in the retail market for a relatively short time, so I’m delighted to achieve a presence at the premier gardening show in its centenary year."
