The company, based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, also arranged demonstrations across the country after showing two machines - the Multivator, which decompacts and recycles rootzone material in one pass, and the Blecavator, a tractor-mounted cultivator for preparing seedbeds - on its stand at the Florida show.
Managing director Gary Mumby said: "This was one of our most successful American shows. As well as securing orders for several machines we were delighted to meet potential clients from across the world, including New Zealand, Scandinavia, Asia and Europe."
Mumby was also able to promote the company’s new close-spaced golf greens overseeder launched at the BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition in January.
BLEC is next exhibiting at the Greenmount Open Day on April 1 at Greenmount College, Co. Fermanagh in Northern Ireland.
