Big names lined up for Association of Professional Landscapers and Society of Garden Designers workshop

Luciano Giubbilei will discuss the issue of quality with Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) vice-chairman Mark Gregory during a workshop next month.

Quality: What It Is and How To Achieve It is the theme of the APL and Society of Garden Designers (SGD) autumn workshop at Capel Manor College on 17 September.

APL chief executive Jason Lock will highlight the importance of having a good contract, while RHS chief assessor Andrew Wilson will lead a panel discussion.

The afternoon session will be introduced by APL chairman Adam Frost and will include 2009 APL Supreme Award Winner David Sewell from The Gardenmakers sharing his experiences and Greenfix Sky-Garden director Mike Cottage on green walls. The day will be concluded by Capel Manor College chief executive Steve Dowbiggin introducing a tour of the gardens.
