Green-waste composter Bettaland has launched an online shop aimed at gardeners, landscapers and farmers which it says makes it easier to buy its products.
The website www.bettaland.co.uk has a "buy now" button for peat-free compost, play bark and amenity bark. Also new is free delivery within 50-miles of the company’s Spalding base. Bulk bags of 900 litres and 30-litre mini bags can be bought at wholesale prices.
Bettaland Nursery manager Shaun Dring said: "We ensure total control of the wide variety of feedstocks that go into the peat-free compost. It is monitored at every stage, shredded, turned and mixed and finally graded to the required sized particles before bagging."
Bettaland’s play bark, made from "environment-friendly renewable resources", is screened to 18-35mm, BS EN 4790 and BS EN 1177 compliant, as well as being FSC certified.
"For landscapers, amenities services and private use, amenity bark derived from forestry wood chips is ideally suited to large areas, helping to suppress weeds and retrain moisture," he said of the bark mulch. The company also sells 10mm organic green waste compost.
