Bayer Garden is now working with WorldRadioGardening.com to produce a podcast every month in 2014, beginning with a film on houseplant care.
Product manager Alison Mulvaney said: "These podcasts are designed to be topical, giving gardeners the practical advice they need at the different times of the season.
"Our first podcast focuses on how to care for houseplants and covers feeding and pest and disease control. We’ll be going on to produce podcasts on how to select the right weedkiller for the job in hand, feeding regimes, the scientific evidence supporting the use of neonicotinoids and effective pest and disease control.
"Retailers can point consumers to these podcasts to get answers to their common gardening questions, which will free up staff time and help consumers be certain they get the product they need."
"WorldRadioGardening.com is growing quickly," explained station founder and broadcaster Ken Crowther.
"We stream all sorts of gardening related content, addressing topical gardening issues, giving practical advice and sharing our love of all things horticulture. We’re delighted to have Bayer Garden’s expertise join that of our other regular podcasters, helping us deliver more variety and knowledge to our listeners."
