Bankruptcy for glasshouse tech supplier Arend-Sosef

Dutch glasshouse equipment supplier and adviser Arend-Sosef has been declared bankrupt.

The Honselersdijk-based company, which operated globally, said on its website: "Due to the disappointing financial results of Arend-Sosef the credit by our bank has been denounced immediately."

"Following this decision, the board is discussing next steps. Until further notice, all activities of Arend-Sosef have been ceased."

General director Bart Sosef welcomed the concern expressed by the industry, but said: "If customers want to support us, it would be appreciated if they paid the outstanding invoices - that would greatly help us."
